Group Classes

Group classes are a fun and interactive way to learn new skills in a social setting! These classes may be held indoors or outdoors depending on weather and location (location may vary). These are designed for puppies or adult dogs who are capable of being around other dogs without major issues** to learn skills like leash walking, basic commands, and critical socialization and desensitization!

*All dogs enrolled in group classes MUST provide proof of all current vaccines, INCLUDING RABIES for dogs old enough.

**Dogs that are reactive and/or aggressive WILL NOT be allowed to participate in group classes until they have completed in-home training and have been approved to join the group class setting.

Class Options

“Drop In” Class

Our drop in class is held weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM. These classes are a rotation of different material covering all aspects of basic obedience. Your dog does not have to come to every class to participate- classes are made so that owners can come as they’re able without missing valuable information, since we will likely cover it again in the near future! Each week will focus on a new skill such as loose leash walking, learning around distractions, recall, and much more. Location may vary, dependent on the training itself. I will always update class participants weekly on the training focus and location! **1 free year of drop in classes is included with all of our In-Home and Board and Train packages!

Puppy Core Classes

Our Puppy 101 and 102 Classes are our foundational puppy program! Each class is 6 weeks in length and are held on a rotating schedule. Puppy 101 focuses on socialization, basic obedience, introducing leash manners, and learning to work in a class or group environment. Puppy 102 continues to build on these skills and introduces core concepts of polishing commands, loose leash walking, training in public settings, and Canine Good Citizen skills. All Puppy 102 class graduates will be eligible to test for their CGC at the end of the 6 week course, test fee waived (AKC processing fee not included in class price).

Cost: $189 per 6 week class

Next Class: Spring/Summer 2025 Dates TBA!

Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

The CGC Program is designed to honor dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. It stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. The CGC award is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups. Some homeowner’s insurance companies are encouraging CGC testing, and an increasing number of apartments and condos require that resident dogs pass the CGC test. This class is designed to focus on each of the 10 steps needed to pass the CGC test and also includes the test itself, given after the class has completed. AKC processing fee is not included in class price.
